all of these!

Thanks to all educators for the fruitful and invaluable information, besides the very enlightening discussion about the whole creative process beginning with creating and developing the characters until finishing the first draft. I propose that you be present at the my review later

I think I could be a good screenwriter! I wish i were a popular screenwriter.!! I have to see something else in the literature section

The most interesting tricks that can help, and even more interesting are the dialogues that I wanted to constantly watch. My review of the book Frankenstein

My review of the book Frankenstein

🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪🌪

When I started reading Frankenstein's book, I thought it was a horror movie. 🐸

Thank you for the idea to read this book. If you had warned me, I should never have done it.🤓

It seemed to me that a monster created by a scientist would do terrible things, be vicious and terrifying. 🤬

Instead, I saw a kind creature with a big heart, whose beautiful soul is trapped in an ugly body.  And I thought that people are also hostages of their bodies.  First of all, a person appreciates the external beauty of another person.🤯  A handsome person is perceived a priori, as cool, good.  Nobody wants to look into your soul if you have an ugly body and face.  Already in the process of communication, a person can change his mind, but this is only laterThe first impression is of the utmost importance.

This work shows us how far a person can go in pursuit of their ambitions.  People need to weigh all their actions and think about how these actions will affect loved ones and relatives, whether they do not harm them.  A person cannot live only the way he wants and do whatever he wants.  We all have parents, brothers, sisters, friends, loved ones, and we have no right to hurt them in pursuit of our dreams.

There are people who have no one and they are free in their actions, they have no one to answer to.  But they are unlikely to be happy with such freedom.  A striking example of this is the creature created by Frankenstein now

If someone hasn't read it before, you should read it!
You should read more and more interesting and wonderful books!
They shouldn’t lie to yourself — you’ll find out about it anyway.

I liked the book, in general.  It is easy to read and leaves a mark on the soul, and for me this is important. If onlywere young again and read this book one more time!

Success attend you! Dear reader, may all your wishes come true!

Subjunctive Mood

The subjunctive mood is the verb form used to explore a hypothetical situation (e.g., If I were you) or to express a wish, a demand, or a suggestion (e.g., I demand he be present).

Real-Life Examples of the Subjunctive Mood

The following verbs often attract the subjunctive mood: to askto commandto demandto insistto orderto recommendto suggest, and to wish.

  • All we ask of a president is that he be likeable. We seem to have given up on the Pentagon's corrupt use of our tax dollars. (Author Donella Meadows)
  • Saddam Hussein systematically violated every UN resolution that demanded he disarm and destroy his chemical and biological weapons. (US politician Henry Waxman)
  • Adjectives That Attract the Subjunctive Mood

  • It is necessary to the happiness of man that he be mentally faithful to himself. (Political activist Thomas Paine)
  • When unseen forces come together to provide a man with the strength and capacity to achieve something great, it is essential that he use the time responsibly and timely. (Author Eyler Robert Coates)
There are three major moods in English:
  • The Indicative Mood. This states facts or asks questions. For example:
    • They are playing the guitar.
    • Are they playing the guitar?
  • The Imperative Mood. This expresses a command or a request. For example:
    • Play the guitar!
    • Please play the guitar.
  • The Subjunctive Mood. This shows a wish or doubt. Some more examples:
    • I suggest that Lee play the guitar.
    • I propose that Lee be asked to play the guitar.
    • If I were Lee, I would play the guitar.

Modal Verbs–Definition and Usage

Modal Verbs–Definition and Usage

Modal verbs are auxiliary verbs (also called helping verbs) like can, will, could, shall, must, would, might, and should. After a modal verb, the root form of a verb is generally used. The word to should not appear after a modal verb. An exception is the phrase ought to, which is considered a modal verb.

Modal verbs add meaning to the main verb in a sentence by expressing possibility, ability, permission, or obligation.

You must turn in your assignment on time.

He might be the love of my life.

The doctor can see you now.

When a modal verb precedes the main verb in a sentence or clause, use the root of the verb rather than the infinitive, which contains the word to.

The one case in which we deviate from this rule and use the full infinitive form of a verb is with the modal phrase “ought to”

The doctor ought to see you now. (You’ve waited long enough.)

To Do as a Modal Verb

The verb to do can be used as a modal verb or a main verb. In this sentence, to do is being used as a main verb and can is being used as a modal verb.

You can do it.

Remember, however, that do can be used as a modal verb only if there is no other modal verb present in the sentence.

Thank you, I do sing.

Thank you, I can sing.

And these are exercises that will help you to better consolidate the material.
